Screwtape Letters caught me by surprise. I knew that C.S. Lewis is a genius, but this, man where do I begin. Simply, this story is how to not be a good christian. Silly, but also so funny. I am reading handwritten letters from a demon, and really, what they are is a guideline for how I can become a better christian. Albeit a twisted one, the message in this book is inspiring, and if you include the toast, a wake up call. I found this book compelling and eye opening, in all the right ways.
