First day of class at Osu in the books. Not mad about it. With all that’s happened in the passed two years I think I can actually be proud. I think I had this image in my head of how my classes would be, what the people in them would look like, and how it would feel waking up and biking to class. by the way, owning a bike and living 2 minutes from campus is not so bad either.
Don’t misunderstand, there are certain risks involved, and it is by no means an open road. There are over a thousand anxious students in every direction. This however, I found, to be quite interest and half of a trial. manuevering through crowds of uninitiated freshmen glued to their phones in search of their classroom can be tricky. That doesn’t mean it’s not fun though. I have already started playing the game of “how close can I get to this person going x miles per hour” (bonus points if they are startled by you). I know when to be careful though, like when chunky brewster takes up three fourths of the sidewalk by herself, I have keep my head on a swivel, might scratch my frame.
There was not much to note other than that, things went smoothely, but I’m sure I’ll meet my fair share of surprises before the end of the week.
